I have been a longtime resident of Southern California and, specifically, West Ventura County.  I love the mild climate and coastal lifestyle we enjoy here. My love of the area and my passion for Real Estate combine to bring energy and enthusiasm to my work as a Realtor.

I originally got my Real Estate license back in Illinois in 1975 and worked with my grandmother, who sold Real Estate there for 50 years.  She taught me everything she knew about Real Estate and about life. My original plan was to work full-time in my career as a flight attendant for a major airline and work part-time in Real Estate. I quickly burned out trying to do both and decided to put Real Estate on hold and go see the world for awhile. I always knew I would return to Real Estate and, sure enough, in 2003 I  retired after a 30 year career with my airline and got my California Real Estate license. I chose Troop Real Estate, Inc. because of its excellent reputation and local community presence. It is the largest independent Real Estate brokerage in West Ventura County and I love the community spirit it brings to the area. 

I reside in Oxnard and am an avid animal lover.  I spent many years doing volunteer work in animal welfare and pet adoption programs and have 1 dog and 2 cats of my own!  I enjoy snorkeling, skydiving, riding my motorcycle, camping, West Coast Swing dancing, and (of course!) travel.  But nothing in life brings me as much satisfaction as helping my clients sell or purchase their home.

I am experienced in all facets of residential real estate, including distressed (pre-foreclosure transactions or "short sales" and post-foreclosure transactions or "REOs/bank-owned") properties and trust sales. I am a "Certified HAFA Short Sale Specialist" and am trained to handle short sales under the Obama Administration's Making Home Affordable Program. I can also offer guidance on Home Loan Modification through the HAMP program. In addition, I am also a Certified "RELO" National Relocation Specialist. I have been with Troop since 2004 and am a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club for top production. 

As a listing agent, my extensive full-service marketing plan gives you, as the seller, the opportunity to get the maximum value for your home by staging and marketing it correctly. I will screen prospective Buyers, handle all negotiations and guide you through escrow to closing.

As a buyer's agent, I will search until we find the perfect home for you, negotiate a fair price and fully represent you, giving guidance and direction throughout the entire escrow process through closing.

I offer professional service with honesty and integrity and I always believe in doing the "Wright" thing. I believe that for every home there is a perfect buyer and for every buyer there is a perfect home. My job is to bring them together. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing the smiles that come with a successful transaction!
